I am Leanne Hoffman, a psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor practising at The Farringdon Practice, 59 St John Street, London EC1M 4AN. This website is hoffmanpsychotherapy.co.uk.

For the purposes of UK GDPR, I am the data controller of the personal information collected through this site. You can contact me at leanne@hoffmanpsychotherapy.co.uk or on 07778 136 995.

What information I collect

I only collect information you voluntarily provide. Through the contact form, this may include:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• A brief description of what brings you to therapy
• Your preferred contact method

I do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health information) through this website. Any clinical information is collected directly in our sessions, under a separate confidentiality agreement.

How I use your information

The information you submit via the contact form is used solely to:

• Respond to your enquiry
• Arrange an initial consultation if appropriate

The legal basis for processing your data is legitimate interests (responding to an enquiry you have initiated) and, where relevant, your consent.

I will not use your contact details for marketing, share them with third parties for commercial purposes, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

How your data is stored

Enquiries submitted via the contact form are delivered to my email inbox and are not stored in any database by this website. Emails are held on secure, password-protected email servers.

This website is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages), which is compliant with UK GDPR. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Cookies

This website uses only a minimal cookie to remember your cookie preference. It does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies without your consent.

If you consent to analytics, I may use Google Analytics 4, which sets anonymised cookies to help me understand how visitors use the site. You can opt out at any time using the cookie settings banner.

Enquiry emails are retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were sent (typically no longer than 12 months if no therapeutic relationship is established). Once a therapeutic relationship begins, records are governed by my separate client confidentiality policy.
